Compass Recovery West’s Chief Operating Officer Dino Bedinelli, MSW, LCSW, CADC is a veteran who has over 11 years of experience in the field. Dino started as a CADC level counselor after completing the ACE program at Westfield University. Dino then received his BS, and MSW, from Springfield College and started practicing as a masters-level clinician. Dino has over six years of administration experience and has been the director of multiple programs.

Nicole Kraverotis, M.Ed
Nicole’s passion for helping those in recovery dates to her time at BHN beginning in 2008 as one of the first staff members in their CSS program. Since that time, Nicole has furthered her education through Westfield State Universities Addiction Counselor Education (ACE) program, Elms College and Cambridge College where she received her master’s in education and Mental Health Counseling. Nicole has extensive experience in many modalities of care as well as direct work as aftercare coordinator, clinical case manager, direct care counselor, clinical supervisor, and clinical director. Nicole also has experience in other facets of behavioral health care working in crisis and CBHC settings and is a board member of the Western Mass Substance Abuse Providers Association (WMSAPA).

Clementine is Compass Recovery West’s care and admissions coordinator. Clementine is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College. Clementine worked as a writer and Assistant Social Media Editor at the Dailymail.com before joining Compass Recovery. Clementine manages community outreach and Compass Recovery’s social media, and she loves to help clients find providers and resources as they reintegrate back into their community.

Jose Rivas
Jose is a person in long term recovery from 2016 who provides direct care primary counseling services with Compass Recovery West. Jose is educated, trained, and certified as a Community Health Worker (CCHW) and has played a critical role in supporting individuals and families on their journey from addition to recovery over the past seven years. Jose recently graduated from the Latino Addiction Counseling Education program (L.A.C.E) and remains ever passionate to help those who are ready to engage in the recovery process.

Chris Maschino, LADC1, CADC
Compass Recovery West’s Clinical Director Chris Maschino, LADCI, CADC, is a substance use disorder professional who has been working in the field since 2017. Chris completed the Addiction Counselor Education program at Westfield State University and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Trauma Services from Endicott College, and a Master of Science in Addiction Counseling from Ottawa University. Since entering the field, Mr. Maschino has worked in ATS, CSS, PHP, and IOP programs in various clinical, operational, and administrative roles.

Shannon Guin
Shannon Guin began her journey in the recovery field in 2019, working as both a Recovery Coach and Peer Support Specialist. Driven by a deep passion for helping others heal through recovery, she has continued to grow in her impact and leadership. In 2022, she stepped into the role of Recovery Coach Supervisor while earning an associate degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Sociology. Expanding her expertise in substance abuse counseling, Shannon is currently pursuing further education in Addiction Studies and joining the Compass West team as a Primary Counselor in 2025.
Beyond her professional roles, Shannon is a dedicated activist and advocate for recovery-centered, community-based support. Deeply rooted in the community she serves, Shannon works to reduce stigma, promote equitable access to treatment, and empower individuals through education, outreach, and peer-led support. Shannon’s work is rooted in compassion, lived experience, and a steadfast belief in the power of recovery to transform lives.
