Welcome to Compass Recovery West.
Admissions Services
Upon your arrival at our West Springfield, MA facility, our admissions services staff will ensure a smooth and seamless entry into our program. They will guide you through the program’s rules and expectations, ensuring your comfort every step of the way. Additionally, they will verify the accuracy of your insurance information and make certain that all your questions are addressed. Subsequently, new patients will have the opportunity to meet with their dedicated addiction counselors.
What Awaits You After the Admissions Process?
Once our admissions services team has successfully facilitated your entry, our counselors will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of your mental and physical well-being. This evaluation is pivotal, as it allows us to create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs, prioritizing your safety during the treatment journey. At Compass Recovery West, our counselors take immense pride in recognizing you as an individual, not merely a face in the crowd. Prior to crafting your treatment plan, they will delve into your motivations for seeking treatment, your history with substance or alcohol abuse, and your recovery goals. Your responses will serve as the foundation of your personalized treatment treatment plan.
Addiction Treatment Services Offered at Compass Recovery West
Here at Compass Recovery West, we offer two types of programming: a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and an intensive outpatient program (IOP).
- Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP): Our PHP is thoughtfully designed for individuals who acknowledge their need for help with substance use disorder but need a more flexible and cost-effective approach than inpatient rehabilitation facilities offer. Guided by the principals of the American Society for Addiction Medicine (ASAM), our PHP provides a minimum of six hours of treatment daily, five days a week, for at least four weeks. This intensive level of care ensures that clients receive the personalized support they need to transform their lives and achieve sobriety. Our PHP offers the ideal balance of structure, support and independence. Our experienced team of professionals helps individuals reclaim their lives and embrace lasting sobriety. Our client-centered approach to recovery sets our PHP apart from other programs.
- Intensive Outpatient Program: Our IOP program empowers clients to maintain their regular daily routines. It is ideal for individuals with some previous sobriety who do not need inpatient detox services. In alignment with ASAM, our IOP provides at least three hours of care, three days a week, for at least eleven weeks. We ensure that our clients receive the necessary tools to achieve significant progress. At Compass Recovery West, we recognize it is important to balance recovery and daily life, and that many people have work, family, or other community obligations that they cannot put on hold. In IOP, our clients embark on the path to lasting recovery without compromising their daily routines.
At Compass Recovery West, we believe in the power of personalized treatment. Our experienced counselors will work with you to create a treatment plan tailored for your needs. We offer therapeutic options such as:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): CBT is a transformative approach that helps individuals break free from negative self-talk and images that can hinder recovery. CBT addresses negative thought patterns commonly seen in individuals with substance use disorder.
- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT): DBT equips individuals with positive coping strategies to navigate everyday stressors. By fostering emotion regulation, this therapy significantly reduces the likelihood of relapse caused by despair or anger.
- Motivational Interviewing (MI): MI sessions empower patients to come to terms with their insecurities and motivate then to change.
